- Snap-Loc steel roofing is environmentally friendly, conserves heating/cooling energy, prevents rotting and mildew, better resistance to hail and wind damage and it's recyclable.
- It is recommended that Snap-Loc be installed over solid sheating. preferably 1/2" min. CDX. In the case of retrofitting existing roofs, strip the roof with acceptable grade wood stripping or metal subgirts to provide a level surface. If OSB type sheating is used, additional fasteners will be required. Please contact us for additional installation information.
- The panels are fastened along the leading edge of the sheet with a #8 X 1" min Phillips Flat head type fastener at 12 O.C (max)
